Dr. Williams is a leading expert in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and has treated clients, published her research, and spoken to professional organizations for nearly 20 years. She is Certified as a Trauma Counselor by the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists, a Diplomat in Police Psychology by the American Academy of Police Psychologists, a Certified Mental Health Professional by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA), and licensed Clinical Social Worker by the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition to her private practice, she currently serves as Ethics Instructor for the Department of Justice, Consultant to Environmental Protection Services' Critical Incident Stress Management Team Development, caseworker for Friday's Child Adoption Services in Winchester, Virginia, ethics for traumatologists instructor for the International Critical Incident Stress.
